Mirror Intelligence is building a personal AI coach that helps people understand the habits and records they choose to share. Users can ask questions about their sleep, routines and progress, and get guidance based on their own information rather than generic advice. The coach then helps them turn goals into daily action.

Mirror is built on TARTLE’s secure DataVault and AI governance software from AIR. It puts choice and consent at the center of personalized AI coaching. The app is launching first with a test group from the TARTLE community, with a subscription model where users start with a limited number of free questions and can upgrade to access additional AI agents.

An AI Coach With Your Context.

Generic chatbots don’t know your routines, your goals or your history. Mirror’s coach draws on the records each person chooses to share, so users can ask about their sleep, habits and progress and get guidance based on their own information. Users choose what they want to improve, follow suggested steps and check in to record progress or change their next task.

Personal AI, on the User’s Terms.

Mirror gives users control over the information behind their guidance. During onboarding, people choose a goal and select the records they want the coach to use, or enter information manually without granting device access. Every insight is built only from what each user has chosen to share.

AI Grounded in User-Chosen Data.

Mirror combines TARTLE’s DataVault, which holds the records people choose to share, with AI governance software from AIR, which keeps coaching responses within defined boundaries. Bringing personal information and controlled AI together is designed to give guidance that goes beyond a generic chatbot. The first rollout, to the TARTLE community, will measure setup completion, data sharing and return visits before a wider launch.

Founder & CEO, Artificial Intelligence Risk, Inc. (Mirror Intelligence founding partner)

Co-founder and CEO of TARTLE, the public benefit corporation whose secure DataVault lets people store and control their own personal data. Alexander leads TARTLE’s role in Mirror Intelligence, which provides the encrypted data storage behind Mirror’s personal AI coach. He studied at Temple University’s Fox School of Business.

Founder and CEO of Artificial Intelligence Risk, Inc. (AIR), which builds AI governance, risk, compliance and cybersecurity software. Alec was previously a Partner and Chief Investment Risk Officer at Lord Abbett, and Global Head of Risk at Ziff Brothers Investments, after earlier roles at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. He holds a BA in Computer Science from Harvard, where his senior thesis focused on artificial intelligence.
